In our Writer's Notebook today, we shared why we chose a particular quote for the Quote Poster assignment that we turned in today.
I distributed a packet containing literary terms that students will be learning over the course of the semester. Each group was assigned one term to teach to the class. They designed a poster with the definition, an illustration, examples from their summer reading, and tips and strategies for recognizing the term in literature. Students created some great work!
